I'm not usually a big fan of paint colors from Farrow and Ball. They are usually a bit too muted or subdued for me. But these inspiring photos made me change my mind. There is something really charming about these color combinations. They are unexpected and therefore appear a bit bolder than you would imagine.
I am slowly working on redecorating our bedroom. The first step was getting our awesome duvet cover for Christmas (thanks, Mom!). We found it at West Elm and are loving it. I am trying to put together an inspiration board for our room. Until then, here are some bedrooms I am inspired by. Can you tell I am thinking of doing a deep blue wall?
This brilliant installation by Italian artist Ludovica Gioscia is the result of 22 layers of wallpaper (some hand screen printed, others ready made) that she has applied to, and then peeled away from, this gallery wall in London. The thing I love about this concept is that there isn't really much control of the outcome when you are working with how wallpaper peels off. It is gorgeous.
