Bathroom Inspiration
As I have mentioned before, my husband and I are getting ready to redo the only bathroom in our 2 bedroom brick bungalow. It is a pretty scary adventure when you have never done anything like this before and you only have one bathroom to use, so you really don't have time for trial and error. Needless to say, despite the fact that I am not a "planner," I am definitely trying to have everything planned out to make the process go as smoothly as possible. The problem is, I would much rather focus on the decorating as opposed to the processes and how-to's. I will get to that eventually, but here is my inspiration for our bathroom. The idea is to work with textures and older more primitive found objects. I have been visiting antique stores ever weekend, slowly collecting items for the space. It is a slow process when you are relying on the perfect find. We just got our vanity which I am very excited about. I will post more about that later. But for now, here a few images to explain the vision that is in my head. My husband has a hard time visualizing how an old metal egg basket could be used to hold towels, but hopefully these images will shed some light on how my brain works.
