Bedroom Inspiration
I am slowly working on redecorating our bedroom. The first step was getting our awesome duvet cover for Christmas (thanks, Mom!). We found it at West Elm and are loving it. I am trying to put together an inspiration board for our room. Until then, here are some bedrooms I am inspired by. Can you tell I am thinking of doing a deep blue wall?

Rococco-Hardcore
This brilliant installation by Italian artist Ludovica Gioscia is the result of 22 layers of wallpaper (some hand screen printed, others ready made) that she has applied to, and then peeled away from, this gallery wall in London. The thing I love about this concept is that there isn't really much control of the outcome when you are working with how wallpaper peels off. It is gorgeous.
Found at The Jealous Curator.

Beau-tea-ful
My favorite sister gave me this adorable yellow tea pot for Christmas and I love it! It's so bright and cheery! I have been drinking more tea than I ever have in my life.

Craigslist Find: Buffet
So cute! It would be even cuter with some colorful hardware such as this:
White Buffet, St. Louis Craigslist, $195.
Melon Hardware, Anthropologie, $8.

Industrial crates
I love these numbered crates from Restoration Hardware. My first thought was (and usually is), "I think I can make these!" I find wire baskets all the time at antique stores (in fact, I have a few already laying around). And, seems like the liners would be a fairly simple sewing project. And all you would need is a number stencil to paint on the numbers (or any word labels you would like). You could even add wheels to the baskets which would make them easy to cart around. Sounds so simple, doesn't it? Actually doing it is another thing:)

lucky coins
You know it's a good idea when it feels simple, obvious and brilliant all at the same time. This clever coin purse comes with its own fortune on the inside.
Buy it here for $45.
