Usually, I am posting fun things for you to buy off craigslist, but this time, I am just bragging about a recent purchase by me! You would think I buy a lot of things off craigslist for as much as I search, but actually this is only my third purchase. Looks like all of my hours searching finally paid off. This sofa was an absolute steal. I have been looking for a couch like this for months. This one is the exact style I envisioned and I only spent $20.
Tufting. Check! Curved back. Check! Comfy. Check! Yellow. Check! Check! How could I not rush out to St. Charles in the middle of game 4 of the world series to get this? You have to be proactive when a beaut like this comes along.
Once I saw the couch in person, I realized it will need a bit of work. I will probably replace the worn towel-like fabric (though I love the yellow) and will need to repair/paint the damaged wood trim. All in all, still a good purchase.
