Mexico on my mind

I just got back from Mexico and I'm still adjusting to diving back into reality. It was a much needed vaycay and Jeremy and I got to go with our best friends Mel and Josh. The trip was so relaxing and the beach was therapeutic. While we were there, I was searching for this amazing otomi fabric which I had first seen on designsponge (Grace's headboard makeover). I only found it in a couple of places in Puerto Vallarta, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. The larger fabric ranged from $250-$400. Nevertheless, this fabric is absolutely gorgeous. It is all hand embroidered by the Mexican Otomi Indians and can take up to three months to make! It might be worth the money to support this amazing art form. I am dying to have this bright and cheery pattern in my life.

Here are a few places you can get this fabric. It comes in all sorts of colors.
