Post Office File Cabinet, $400, St. Louis Craigslist
Wooden Crate/Coffee Table, $95, St. Louis Craigslist
Antique Butcher Block Table, $50, St. Louis Craigslist
I am headed down to my parents' cabin this weekend to spend time with my family. I am excited to get out on the water and see my little niece! I'm sure I will find some time this weekend to check out some small town antique stores. But, until then, I will leave you with some antiques found on St. Louis Craigslist.

I want to go to there...
Write On!
What is going on with this chalkboard phenomenon? I love the idea, don't get me wrong. I recently purchased a can of chalkboard spray paint myself. But somehow the appeal of an object increases tenfold if you can write/draw on it. I have seen this chalkboard fad on every blog known to man, but nothing like this. Check out this chalkboard pendant designed by local St. Louisan John Beck. I don't know that I have ever said to myself: that is a cool light, but can you write on it? Nevertheless, I am still loving this lamp.

Cheree Berry Paper for Kate Spade
Attention St. Louisans! If you are looking for something fun to do, take a chance at the Kate Spade store in Frontenac mall (34 Plaza Frontenac, St. Louis, Missouri 63131). I love working for Cheree Berry Paper because there is always something new and different going on. This opportunity was no exception. Cheree was asked to do an art installation for the new Kate Spade store in St. Louis. I think the end result was fantastic--2 full walls of mini colorful envelopes, filled with random chances. "Eat Cake For Breakfast." "Go Skinny Dipping." "Crash a Party." These are just a sampling of some of the cards you could pull at the store entrance. If you are really feeling daring, climb the pink step stool to the card labeled "extra risky." The installation is up through June and if you pull the right card, you could even win some Cheree Berry Paper letterpressed stationery.
For more pictures and info on the installation, go to Kate Spade behind the curtain.

Found: Bathroom Vanity
So, after months and months searching thrift stores, antique shops and craigslist, we finally found our vanity!!! It was definitely worth the wait. I was getting a little discouraged, thinking that my idea to repurpose an old piece of furniture for our vanity was wishful thinking. Jeremy was watching my craigslist obsession carefully and was about to have an intervention. (thanks for your patience, J!)
Luckily, we came upon a $30 nightstand on craigslist that was just the right size and look for our bathroom redo. The woman in Clayton who sold it to me said it was passed down from her mother, but she just didn't have a place for it.
And, I just picked out a vessel sink and faucet that will hopefully transform this piece into a fully functioning bathroom vanity. Here's hopin'!

Vintage Tea Towels
Lately, I have been drawn to the patterns and colors of vintage tea towels. They are so quirky and fun. These are a few that I found on etsy.
Vintage Chairs
St. Louis Craigslist, Vintage Wooden Chairs, $75 for both
I am finding some good things on craigslist this morning! These chairs are absolutely beautiful. When I find something like this I try to find a purpose for them in my house to justify the purchase. Unfortunately, I can't come up with a reason right now, which is why you should buy them!
You can find them here.
Gate Headboard
St. Louis Craigslist, metal gate, $50
I saw this on craigslist this morning and I absolutely love it! My first thought was that this could make an amazing twin headboard. You could leave it as is in its primitive state or paint it a bright yellow or red for a more modern look.
Buy it here.
